Your Frequently Asked Questions...Answered!

Here's a collection of the questions most frequently asked by our guests - we hope you find it useful.

Before You Arrive

You'll find us between the village of St Florence and the town of Tenby in beautiful south Pembrokeshire.

Here's a map of our location

Our tree houses, woodland hideaways and safari tents are open from Easter to October half term each year. Our yurts and and camping pitches are open from May to the end of September.

During school term time, both short breaks and week bookings are available.

During school holidays bookings are weekly from Saturday to Saturday (there may be some flexibility with any last-minute availability).

Short breaks are either 4 nights from Monday to Friday or 3 nights from Friday to Monday.

You'll find a handy map of the village here.

Yes, our yurts and camping pitches are dog friendly - woof!

Although there isn't WiFi in the glamping accommodation itself (this is about getting back to nature after all!), WiFi is available in the shared shower/utility block so you won't be completely out of touch.

Only our safari tents have electricity within the accommodation.

However, all guests get a key to a private locker within our communal shower/utility block which contains two electric sockets.

You'll also find communal electric sockets next to the mirrors in the shower block.

Florence Springs is a peaceful, family-orientated site so we're afraid we do not accept single sex parties or stag/hen parties. We ask that all guests respect their neighbours and limit noise between 9pm and 8am.

Glamping is booked through our partners, Hoseasons, while our premium camping pitches are booked through campsites.co.uk.

You'll find all the booking and site Terms & Conditions here.

Your accommodation will be ready for you from 4pm on the first day of your holiday. Our friendly warden will be onsite ready to check you in between 4pm and 7pm - please ensure you arrive between these times.

We ask that you vacate by 10am on the last day of your holiday to give us the opportunity to prepare for the next guests.

Please see our handy lists of equipment provided and what we recommend you bring for each type of accommodation.

Yes, of course! You can either add these at the time of booking (£7 per item, per stay) or, if you've already booked, simply give us a call on 01646 652000 to add these on.

As you are effectively camping, it is advisable to take out holiday insurance and we recommend you do not leave valuables unattended.

Keep an eye on our Facebook page where you'll find cancellations and an updated list of upcoming availability.

While You're Here

Cars are parked just outside the main glamping area to help maintain the peace and tranquillity of the village.

Trolleys are available to transport your luggage to your accommodation, as well as collect wood from the wood store during your stay.

Simply follow the flower-bound footpath over the bridge and let your glamping adventure begin!

There's no need to book ahead for golf or fishing - you're welcome to play or fish any time.

If you need to hire equipment and to collect a score card, you'll need to visit reception at Heatherton World of Activities.

Rods are available for the coarse and trout fishing lakes from Heatherton's main reception. There is a £20 deposit for the rod and a £3 charge for a starter pack of hooks, weights, floats etc.

Every customer needs a license to fish on the lakes. This can be done very easily online on the gov.uk website.

The smaller lake closest to the main road into Florence Springs is the coarse fishing lake. You'll find carp (some over 10lbs), roach, rudd, tench and bream - this lake is catch & release only.

The larger lake is the trout fishing lake. Two fish per customer can be caught for personal consumption.

Customers can only use barbless hooks and no keep nets are permitted.

Children must be supervised by adults at all times when fishing, and the wildlife on the lakes must be respected.

  • Toilets and showers, including a family-friendly, accessible toilet and shower
  • Private charging lockers with electric sockets inside

If you can't spot one of our friendly wardens around the site, simply give us a call on 01646 652000 if it's between 9am and 7pm.

If you have an emergency or urgent situation outside office hours, you'll find our emergency phone number in your welcome pack in your accommodation.

We ask that dogs are not left alone in your yurt or tent and they do not sleep on the furniture in the yurts.

Yes please - Florence Springs is a family-orientated site and we ask guests to limit noise between 9pm and 8am.

As our guests you benefit from 10% discount on Credit Passes, Tree Tops Trail and Tenby's Great Escape at Heatherton World of Activities.
